Sorry, but I can buy the Lowe’s or Home Depot supplied version and it lasts and works much better. The coverage on this is at least half of what is advertised. Didn’t work well, either.

This purchase didn’t meet my expectations in many aspects.

    1) Product didn’t function as advertised

    2) Seller didn’t stand behind their product

    3) I’ve had to contact Amazon and file a claim to get a refund

    4) Mosquitos are still having a feast in my garden

Hose-End-Concentrate type mechanism apparently do not work as advertised. It is supposed to cover 5,000 sq ft, but it does not. Why? Because in just 2 minutes of spraying, my bottle was bone dry. Anybody who has a medium size back yard knows that you need at least 10 minutes to spray a several thousand square feet garden. Also anybody who has used any type of hose-end-concentrate bottle (i.e fertilizer, any other pesticide) knows that, those bottles last at least 30 minutes.

I can’t even rate the product’s effectiveness, because probably in just first 2 minutes I dumped all my product on one spot, and just watered the rest of my garden. I simply stated my complaint to the seller, and requested an explanation. They emailed me back to acknowledge my concern, but after couple of weeks, I didn’t hear from them again.

I had to file a claim under Amazon.com’s superb A-to-Z satisfaction coverage, got my refund back. I am currently using a mosquito zapper, and at least I am seeing dozens of dead flies as a physical result. I still need an effective lawn sprayer for more comfort though…

I purchased this product to test it out and see if it really works. I measured an area of our garden for 5000 square feet. Then I started spraying. There is a slight garlic odour with the spray but certainly not offensive. After spraying an area on less than 3000 feet I noticed the smell was lot less and when I shook the bottle it was empty! The next stage was to see if we would get bit. We sat outside and my wife as the test subject (Mosquitoes are drawn to her, not to me!) commented that she did not see any difference from before and after. After two evenings of sitting on the porch she had 23 bites!

I cannot say that this does eliminate all the mosquitoes. We are not near a lake or marshy area. Rather near the top of a hill with trees and slight up and downs in the terrain.

For value for money I give 4/10, for the ability to do its job 3/10 and for coverage 1/10.

We used this last year and it worked great. We were very surprised and impressed by how well it kept the mosquitos away. We have a bad mosquito problem (day and night!!) and this has been the only product to help. I am stocking up this year. It lasted about a month for us and it took 2 bottles to do our yard. A bit pricey but completely worth it!!

My back yard was so filled with mosquitos that we couldn’t even enjoy it in the evenings. With small children and pets, I wanted something non toxic and earth friendly. So far, I have been very impressed. I’ve only had to apply it once to the yard in the past month and a half, the citronella smell went away after about 1/2 hour, and my yard is mosquito free!
